Hi! I'm Bailey, co-founder of Howe Home and Garden. My husband, Joey, and I live and grow on our 2.3-acre property in Noblesville, Indiana. I'm a licensed architect, and Joey is currently training to become a firefighter in our neighboring city. My days are spent nurturing and expanding our gardens, while Joey explores the culinary arts with his signature experiments.
Our love for horticulture began in 2020, during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our two-room studio apartment in Philadelphia felt cramped overnight, and to keep our spirits up, we immersed ourselves in episode after episode of Gardener’s World on the BBC, dreaming of the day we could cultivate our own piece of paradise.
In 2021, we made the decision to move to Indiana—Bailey's home state—and found the perfect property off Howe Road in Noblesville. Before the boxes were even unpacked, we began laying out our first garden beds. Since then, we've sold cut flowers and vegetables, kept bees, and steadily increased the diversity of perennials on our property each year.
As our passion for gardening has grown, we’ve found great joy in sharing it with others. We've turned our love for growing into a platform for education, helping others discover the joys of cultivating their own gardens. Whether it’s through sharing tips, showcasing our own journey, or simply spreading the love of sustainable practices, we are thrilled to inspire others to connect with the earth.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue growing, creating, baking, and experimenting, all while maintaining a focus on sustainability and environmentally conscious practices in both our home and garden.
